MLK Jr. Tree Planting Event 2026

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service 

Join Team Ashby, the Sacramento Tree Foundation, and fellow community members in honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by planting trees at Main Avenue Elementary School in the Robla Elementary School District! 

What to expect:

Volunteers will plant 17 trees to help clean the air and provide shade on the Main Avenue Elementary School campus. 

**All volunteers must sign a waiver. All youth participants must have an adult present and a parent or guardian signature. Volunteers will need to check in at the front office to pick up a badge.

What to bring:

Comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty, sturdy shoes for outdoor work, and a water bottle.
Optional: Bring your own gloves.
