Senior Scam Stopper 2026

Senator Lena Gonzalez and the Contractors State License Board invite you to attend a FREE Senior Scam Stopper Seminar.

Hosted in partnership with the Contractors State License Board, this seminar will provide seniors and their families with valuable information and practical tools to help recognize, prevent, and avoid common scams and financial exploitation. Attendees will learn about California regulations, consumer protections, and preventative measures designed to help keep seniors safe from predatory contractors and other scams.

Where: Mayfair Park 5720 Clark Ave, Lakewood, CA 90712 (in the building directly next to the pool and closest to the intersection of Clark Ave. and South St.)
When: Tuesday, October 27, 2026 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Parking is free in the parking lots at Mayfair Park. The closest lot to the event is located on the corner of Clark Ave. and South St.
