As a concerned California constituent, I urge your support for Senate Bill 14 (Grove)– a pivotal step to hold repeat traffickers accountable and protect our children.
Human trafficking severely violates innocent children, causing untold suffering. Sadly, our state ranks among the top in the nation for this crime. SB 14, reclassifies sex trafficking of a minor as a serious felony, a strike offense under California law.
I firmly believe SB 14 is critical in combating human trafficking and will send a strong message that California stands firm in protecting our children.
