Thank you for your interest in serving California’s 75th Assembly District as an intern. I’m pleased to offer a year-round, 12-week internship program that provides hands-on experience in public service and community engagement. Internships are available in both my Capitol office in Sacramento and our District office in San Diego.
While this is a voluntary, unpaid position, the professional experience you’ll gain is invaluable. Interns will be expected to commit 10-12 hours per week, with the potential for continued involvement depending on performance and availability.
As an intern, you will have the chance to directly interact with community members, assist in organizing events, support constituent services, conduct research, and contribute to our communications efforts. This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in state government and policymaking, all while making a real impact in the lives of those we serve. Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, Letter of Recommendation, and be included in our alumni network for job offers to help support your future endeavors.
We are seeking motivated, passionate individuals who are driven to make an impact in the community. If you are committed to learning about the inner workings of state government and want to make a real, lasting impact, this is the opportunity for you.
