Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes
50th Assembly District

Assembly Majority Leader Reyes is working on legislation to support small businesses this year. She has introduced AB 258, which states the Legislature’s intent to create and promote a portal where small businesses can search for grant, procurement, and other financial opportunities.

We are working to develop the full language for this legislation and are gathering feedback from small businesses, individuals interested in starting a small business, and organizations that work with small businesses to better understand the needs of the business community and inform the language of the legislation.

This legislation is intended to support local chambers of commerce and the business community by making information on financial opportunities and resources more easily accessible.
